February 22, 2022 - Dr. Laura McCabe, Assistant Vice President for Research Regulatory Support
We are excited to announce that starting today the name of Office of Regulatory Affairs will be changing to the Office of Research Regulatory Support, ORRS.
The new name better reflects our ongoing functions of supporting MSU’s innovative and expanding research enterprise and enhancing the success of MSU researchers.
ORRS is composed of 8 regulatory teams including: Campus Animal Programs (CAR/IACUC), Conflict of Interest, Export Controls and Trade Sanctions (ECTS), Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Human Research Protection Program (HRPP), Information and Communication Technology, Stem Cell Research and Administrative Management. ORRS is available to support faculty, students, and staff with their research regulatory needs so that they can conduct research that is safe, protects research subjects, and meets all local, state, and federal guidelines.
Over the next weeks, ORRS IT and Administration will be working to update our email addresses, website, servers, and letterhead. The name change will be reflected in a new website address: ORRS.msu.edu.
Thank you for your support of ORRS - We look forward working with you!
