Getting Access to Click

Click uses MSU NetID login and two-factor authentication. Current faculty, staff, and students have access to the system.

  • New Faculty

To access Click prior to their start date, new faculty members must first obtain and activate their NetID.

Once the NetID is activated, the faculty member's department must submit a generic eARM form to request access as a Click Affiliate.

  • Students Not Currently Enrolled

Students not enrolled in classes for the current semester will not have access to Click, even if they are listed on a Click project.

To access Click when not currently enrolled, the student's department must submit a generic eARM form to request access as a Click Affiliate.

  • External Researchers (Non-MSU affiliates)

External team members can be added to a project through a document upload. External research personnel only need login access to view or edit the study. Contact the Primary Investigator or the Helpdesk if you aren't sure if you need login access.

Request a NetID to Login to Click

    1. The sponsoring department must email the ID Office or call 517-355-4500 and request a 2FA-enabled, login-only NetID for Click access.
    2. The researcher must activate NetID and establish two-factor authentication.
    3. The sponsoring department must submit a generic eARM form to request access as a Click Affiliate.
